FELLOW

Anthonia Nkiruka Egbe is the co-founder of The Velvette Consulting, an agricultural brokerage firm connecting global buyers to build supply chains and source agricultural commodities of African origin. Anthonia's mission is to revolutionize the supply chain in Africa by digitizing it, promoting equity, and ensuring transparency for all stakeholders involved. 

With a firm belief that food distribution is not just about transactions but about forging meaningful connections with the rich culture and heritage of producing communities. Her goal is to empower global buyers to directly engage with small-scale farmers in West Africa, eliminating the need for intermediaries and promoting fair trade practices. 

With a diverse international background, Anthonia has lived and worked in seven countries, cultivating a deep understanding of global dynamics. Her expertise extends to consulting roles with prestigious organizations such as Tridge, Lenovo Technologies, Complete Farmer, and the National Cashew Association of Nigeria. 

Anthonia's academic achievements are equally impressive, boasting multiple degrees at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels in linguistics, public and international affairs. She also has certifications in product management, food safety, and export development.
