Ashley Mutanu Mutiso, the co-founder of Itanya Africa Group, brings diverse experience to her role, spanning research, behavioural science, policy development, management consulting, and social impact organizations across Africa and the globe. This breadth of expertise equips her with a multifaceted understanding of complex issues and effective strategies for addressing them.

As a mentor for women agribusiness owners in Africa, courtesy of FAO, Ashley is committed to fostering inclusivity and empowering marginalized communities. Her dedication to mentorship underscores her passion for driving positive change and creating opportunities for underrepresented groups.

Ashley's role as a mentor complements her work at Itanya Africa Group, where she spearheads transformative projects to empower smallholder farmers and enhance the resilience of the agricultural ecosystem in Machakos County. Her commitment to inclusive growth and community empowerment is evident in her endeavours both within and outside her professional sphere.

Ashley's experiences in research and policy development further enrich her contributions to societal change. Her work with organizations like UNCTAD Youth and the Commonwealth Youth Council demonstrates her proactive approach to addressing pressing global issues, particularly education, agriculture, and mental health policy.

As a co-founder of Tash Spaces, Ashley curate conversations across various topics in Kenya, fostering dialogue and collaboration among diverse stakeholders. She is also the Chief of Staff at Future Africa Forum, where she supports the CEO.

With a 3 Continent Master of Global Management from Fordham Gabelli School of Business and a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance from Strathmore University, Ashley combines academic rigour with practical experience to drive impactful outcomes. Her certificates in Global Diplomacy from the University of London and Digital Strategy from the Chartered Institute of Marketing further augment her skill set, enabling her to navigate complex challenges with agility and foresight.
