Atinuke Lebile

Atinuke Lebile is a dynamic individual driven by her passion to combat malnutrition and food insecurity through the agricultural sector and its value chain. 

With a wealth of experience spanning over 9 years in the agriculture value chain, food processing, and innovation, she stands as an accomplished agribusiness entrepreneur. Atinuke is the Co-founder and CEO of Cato Foods, a food processing company dedicated to addressing malnutrition and hidden hunger through the utilization of biofortified staple crops. Additionally, she is the founder of SHE AGRIC Initiative, an NGO that empowers and encourages young women to participate in the agricultural value chain and agribusiness. As a respected Nutrition and Biofortification Ambassador for Harvestplus, Atinuke advocates for the consumption of nutrient-rich and healthy foods, particularly in rural areas where malnutrition is prevalent. Her commitment extends beyond her ventures, as she serves on the Advisory board of Rural Innovation Network, a social enterprise based in the United States. 

Atinuke Lebile holds a degree in Agricultural Science from the University of Ilorin, Nigeria. She has also acquired certificates in Business and Entrepreneurship from Purdue University, USA, and Enterprise Management from the Enterprise Development Center at Lagos Business School, Nigeria. Noteworthy accomplishments include being an alumnus of FATE Foundation, a global ambassador for A World at School's 2015 Global Alliance for Youth Leadership, a 2016 fellow of Young Africans Initiative (RLC) West Africa, a 2017 Mandela Washington fellow, a 2017/2018 Leap Africa fellow, and a 2019 Emerging Leader recognized by the Skoll Foundation. 

Atinuke possesses an unwavering passion for business, entrepreneurship and a commitment to youth and women empowerment. She thrives on addressing critical issues surrounding malnutrition, particularly among children and women, as well as promoting food security and agricultural value addition.
