Deina Mayaki
FELLOW

Deina Mayaki is the Founder of Agriarche, an agri-tech enterprise digitizing last-mile markets and connecting smallholder farmers to sustainable financing, including in fragile and insurgency-affected regions. Through Agriarche’s innovative model, Deina has worked with over 13,000 farmers, improving market access, financial inclusion, and resilience across underserved agricultural communities.

Her work directly contributes to poverty reduction, zero hunger, gender inclusion, and the adoption of climate-smart agricultural practices, strengthening livelihoods across the agricultural value chain. By leveraging technology and ecosystem partnerships, Agriarche is helping farmers, aggregators, and processors operate more efficiently and profitably, even in the most challenging contexts.

As a LAWFF Fellow, Deina sees the platform as an opportunity to amplify Agriarche’s impact, strengthen collaboration with like-minded leaders, and deepen her influence in shaping a more inclusive and sustainable African food system. The fellowship provides a critical space for visibility, learning, and partnership—enabling both personal and professional growth while opening new opportunities for her team and the broader ecosystem.

Driven by a strong commitment to value creation and social impact, Deina remains focused on solutions that improve livelihoods across Africa’s food sector and advance practical, scalable change for farmers and food system actors.
