The Leading African Women in Food Fellowship is an ambitious program aimed at supporting changemakers who are making outstanding contributions/impact in the African food ecosystem. This initiative amplifies, celebrates, champions, and advances the work of these female food changemakers.
Ibinabo Moses is the Founder and CEO of Dailytummies, a leading food processing company in Nigeria dedicated to improving early childhood nutrition. Dailytummies specializes in producing 100% natural, NAFDAC-approved baby and toddler cereal mixes made from locally sourced crops, providing nutritious and affordable meal options for children aged 6 months to 6 years.
Driven by a strong commitment to combating child malnutrition, Ibinabo has led the development of innovative products including Potato Pap, Mixed Cereal Powder, Brown Rice Cereal, Beans & Veggies Powder, and Mixed Cereal and Nut Powder. Through Dailytummies, over 5,000 babies across Nigeria have been nourished with safe, healthy, and accessible meals.
Beyond product innovation, Ibinabo is passionate about women’s economic empowerment and inclusive growth. She has created meaningful employment opportunities for stay-at-home mothers, with 90% of Dailytummies’ workforce being female, while also supporting local farmers by improving productivity and expanding market access, strengthening the agricultural value chain and local economy.
Ibinabo has conducted nutrition education and training sessions in rural communities, equipping mothers with knowledge on early childhood nutrition and practical skills to prepare healthy, creative meals for their children. Dailytummies also adopts sustainable production and eco-friendly packaging practices to reduce environmental impact.
