Jacinta is a dynamic professional with expertise in business development, governance, and stakeholder and events management, with a strong focus on advancing cross-border trade, policy research, and advocacy across Africa. Her work is driven by a commitment to creating meaningful change within the food system, promoting women’s economic empowerment, and supporting initiatives that strengthen food security on the continent.
She actively contributes to policy dialogues and advocacy efforts aimed at improving regional trade, market access, and economic opportunities, while engaging diverse stakeholders to design and deliver high-impact programs and events. Jacinta’s ability to bridge policy, practice, and partnerships enables her to support initiatives that drive inclusive and sustainable outcomes.
Passionate about building inclusive spaces for women in agribusiness, Jacinta is deeply involved in development-focused and community-led empowerment initiatives that elevate women’s participation and leadership within food value chains.
She is a proud Leading African Women in Food Fellowship (LAWFF) Alumna, Class of 2024, where she further strengthened her leadership, advocacy, and strategic thinking skills.
