The Leading African Women in Food Fellowship is an ambitious program aimed at supporting changemakers who are making outstanding contributions/impact in the African food ecosystem. This initiative amplifies, celebrates, champions, and advances the work of these female food changemakers.
Miracle Nduka is the Founder of Kitovu Agriculture, a technology-driven agribusiness building an integrated operating system that is transforming smallholder farming across Africa. Through Kitovu’s suite of digital solutions, Miracle is addressing some of the most persistent challenges facing farmers—low productivity, limited market access, climate risk, and weak post-harvest systems.
At the core of Kitovu’s innovation is YieldMax, a data-powered advisory tool that uses analytics and climate intelligence to deliver tailored agronomic guidance, resulting in measurable yield improvements. eProcure seamlessly connects farmers to reliable buyers, improving market access and price transparency, while StorageX provides efficient storage solutions paired with access to finance, enabling farmers to reduce losses, smooth cash flow, and build resilience against climate shocks.
Collectively, Kitovu’s solutions have benefited over 16,500 smallholder farmers, delivering an average 30% increase in yields and a 40% increase in farmer incomes. By combining data science, digital infrastructure, and inclusive market systems, Miracle is helping to build a more efficient, climate-smart, and farmer-centered agricultural ecosystem.
Kitovu’s impact has earned recognition through multiple prestigious awards and aligns strongly with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Zero Hunger (SDG 2), Decent Work and Economic Growth (SDG 8), Climate Action (SDG 13), and Partnerships for the Goals (SDG 17).
Selected as a 2024 Fellow of the Leading African Women in Food Fellowship (LAWFF), Miracle views the platform as an opportunity to deepen her leadership capacity, engage in peer learning, and amplify Kitovu’s impact through strategic visibility and collaboration. As a Kitovu co-founder, she brings a powerful blend of technical expertise, business strategy, and advocacy, contributing practical insights on deploying climate-smart technologies, scaling digital solutions, and building effective partnerships.
Through her participation in LAWFF, Miracle is committed to sharing best practices, supporting collective innovation, and mobilizing action alongside fellow awardees to advance a sustainable, inclusive, and resilient African food system.
