FELLOW

Ozioma Antonetta Onwordi is the Founder of Eden Whole Foods, a purpose-driven enterprise transforming the African food industry by processing and distributing nutritious African heritage foods to global markets while advancing food and financial security for smallholder farmers.

Driven by a commitment to nutrition, sustainability, and inclusive growth, Ozioma leverages innovative food technology to reduce post-harvest losses and address childhood malnutrition through the delivery of healthy, preservative-free food options. Through Eden Whole Foods, Ozioma expands market access for small-scale farmers, provides training in food preservation and processing, and promotes sustainable business practices across the agricultural value chain. Her integrated farming model strengthens environmental sustainability by recycling plant and animal waste into organic manure, fostering a resilient circular food ecosystem.

Ozioma’s work aligns with key United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, including No Poverty (SDG 1), Zero Hunger (SDG 2), and Good Health and Well-being (SDG 3). Guided by the vision of nourishing Africans with wholesome food grown on African soil, she continues to reduce food waste, empower local farmers, and build a more sustainable and equitable food system.
